Character:

Dr. Briana Spencer, a zoologist/mammalogist who focuses her studies on felines of all shapes and sizes, takes her career and love of cats seriously, but it doesn't pay the bills. Dr. Spencer excels in puzzles and brain teasers. She loves crime shows and medical dramas.
One day, after work, she is walking home and passes by something glowing. Curious, she approaches it and sees it's a rubix cube and takes it home. She arrives home to her small apartment and sits down. Her rescue kitty, Lorenzo, greets her and gets on her lap. She takes out the rubix cube and begins to work on it.
10 minutes past, and she solves the rubix cube. Once she she clicks the final side in place to complete the puzzle, it begins to glow and in the blink of an eye, it transforms her into a cat much like her precious Lorenzo.
She is confused at first but sees the pros versus the cons in her newly discovered powers.
She notices around her neck she has a charm on a collar that is the rubix cube, that she can transform back to her human self. Dr. Spencer finds out that she can transform to not only a cat, but any animal she puts her mind to once she solves the rubix cube.
-----------
Days pass and after a long and rough day at work, she comes home to a notice saying she needs to pay her rent that is 3 months behind, or she will be evicted. Frustrated she tries to think of ways to get the money she needs to pay her rent.
She begins fiddling with her magic rubix cube and comes up with a plan to use her new powers as well as her brains to rob the City Bank in order to pay her rent.
